Take a look at this full body circuit that can be used to help you jumpstart your fitness regimen! The only equipment needed is a light pair of hand weights. Enjoy!
Exercises include:
1. Jump & Press to Side Squat: Perform a full jumping jack before going into squat on each side. You can modify by stepping into the squat on each side instead of jumping.
2. Squat & Speedbag: Press back onto the hips when going into the squat. Keep the arms up as you perform the speedbag.
3. Jump Kick & Press: Make each kick a quick, sharp movements. To modify, alternate from one to the other without the jump.
4. Opposite Knee to Elbow to Cross Jab: Work to bring the knee and elbow into center to engage the core. Pivot on the feet when twisting in to your jab to protect the knees.
5. Mountain Climbers: Aim to keep your shoulders over your wrists, and prevent the hips from lifting. To modify, you can walk the feet in one after another instead of running. Or you can simply hold your plank.
