Lunden De’Leon: Building Success in Hollywood

Actress and entrepreneur Lunden De’Leon is lighting up television and movie screens while building businesses within the entertainment industry. We spoke with De’Leon to hear more about what she’s been working on and how she keeps her mind balanced and body healthy.
Born in Barbados and raised in South Carolina, Lunden always knew that the entertainment industry was something she wanted
to get into. After receiving her first opportunity to begin working, she found a job at Burger King and saved up enough money to relocate to Los Angeles. “It was really tough, and there were times when I didn’t know where my next meal was coming from,” says Lunden. “At times, I didn’t know where I would lay my head, but I knew that I wanted to be in the entertainment industry.”
After arriving in LA, Lunden found a roommate who allowed her crash on her couch temporarily. “She knew I had no money so she let me tag along with her to an audition and encouraged me to give it a try,” she says. Lunden was able to secure the role and knew from then on that this was something she wanted to continue doing. “From there, I started to take classes and just kept looking for work,” she says.
